This Privacy Policy explains what personal information TopN Analytics Learning Website (“we”, “us”) collects when you use this website, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

  • Account details: your name, username, email address and password (stored in hashed form, never as plain text).
  • Learning activity: the courses you enrol in, your progress, quiz and assignment submissions, reviews and certificates.
  • Instructor applications: if you apply to teach, the details you provide such as your expertise, short bio and any profile or portfolio link.
  • Orders and payments: order details and payment status. Payments are handled by third-party payment providers (for example Razorpay, Stripe and UPI services). We do not store your full card or bank details.
  • Messages: anything you send us through contact or enquiry forms (your name, email address, subject and message). Our contact form uses a simple image captcha to block spam; it does not track you across other websites.
  • Newsletter subscription: your email address (and your name, if the sign-up form asks for it) when you subscribe to our newsletter or request the free AI prompt guide.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type and cookies needed to keep the site working and secure.

How we use your information

  • To create and manage your account and give you access to courses.
  • To process orders and confirm payments.
  • To review instructor applications and tell you the outcome.
  • To send service emails such as confirmations, approvals and password resets.
  • To respond to your questions and provide support.
  • To send you the newsletter and free guide you asked for (see below).
  • To keep the site secure, prevent fraud and fix problems.

Newsletter and free guide

If you subscribe on our newsletter page or tick the optional newsletter box at checkout, we use your email address to send you the free AI prompt guide, followed by occasional emails about new courses, learning tips and updates from TopN Analytics.

  • Your consent: we only add you to our mailing list when you choose to subscribe. Your consent is the basis on which we email you, and subscribing is separate from creating an account or enrolling in a course.
  • Email service provider: newsletter sign-ups are collected and emails are sent through Hostinger Reach, an email marketing service run by Hostinger, which processes your email address on our behalf. Their handling of data is described in the Hostinger privacy policy.
  • Tracking: email marketing tools may record whether an email was delivered, opened or clicked so that we can see what is useful. This is used only to improve our emails.
  • Unsubscribing: every email contains an unsubscribe link. You can also ask us to remove you at any time by contacting us. After you unsubscribe we keep only the minimum record needed to make sure we do not email you again.
  • The guide download: the download link is sent in the welcome email. We do not sell or rent your email address to anyone.

Cookies

We use cookies that are necessary for logging in, keeping items in your cart and remembering your session. Our hosting setup may also use caching to make pages load faster. You can block cookies in your browser settings, but parts of the site may then stop working.

Who we share information with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:

  • Service providers who help us run the site, such as hosting, payment processing, and email delivery and newsletter services (Hostinger Reach), and only as needed to provide their service.
  • Instructors, who can see limited information about learners enrolled in their courses, such as name and progress, so they can teach.
  • Authorities or other parties where the law requires it, or to protect our rights and users.

How long we keep it

We keep newsletter subscriber details until you unsubscribe. We keep other information while your account is active and for as long as needed to provide our services, meet legal or accounting requirements and resolve disputes.

Your choices

You can ask to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to close your account, by contacting us. We will respond within a reasonable time.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

This website is not directed at children. If you believe a child has given us personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
